Good morning all, any active duty people still waiting to hear a class date from your skipper? Haven’t heard anything from mine, I’m just going by what I see in eNTRS.

I haven't heard anything either after my request was sent - I would expect a few weeks wait.

Same here, I saw the 03May date with the help of my career counselor and the CO said he’d be cool with me leaving in May, and that’s as far as I got.

With imminent death by flu upon us, do yall think/know of OTC taking measures to make sure candidates aren't coming in with Covid 19? Or maybe even pushing dates back?

talked to my recruiter earlier in the week, he said he hasn’t heard anything yet about dates shifting

a lot seems to have happened in the last 48 hours though.

I'm weirdly okay with, and would rather have Big Navy pull ship dates in and quarantine the incoming candidates for 2 weeks than start OCS late. Somehow allow the quarantined to PT once or twice a day and then start OCS on time. Simple, right??? ?

I hope it's not affecting OCS dates honestly, April 12th is coming up and I'm leaving work in the end of March and already mentally prepared to go

I’m not sure if anybody cares, but after not being selected on this board I immediately scheduled a retake on my ASTB and ended up taking it yesterday. Improved my score from a 55 5/6/6 to a 56 6/8/7! Now I am eager to apply for the next board haha
Congratulations and welcome to the squad. Our thread is 25May20 SNA/SNFO (Pilot/NFO) Board. You can upload your new and improved scores to our Google Sheet ?

I wouldn’t be surprised if some ship dates got pushed back a month or so. I know our work just switched to teleworking because all the schools shut down. Plus there was someone who tested positive at our medical on base. I think that things may get pushed back due to a lack of manning, not so much of a health concern but that’s just me. Not sure if the civilians heard but they cancelled all bootcamp and OCS graduations as far as visitors go. My friend who is at ODS said to push back my ship date as far as I could

It’s business as usual right now.

The DOD banned all domestic travel, including PCS and TAD orders until mid May...so that has to effect our ship dates.
Travel is allowed for things deemed as mission critical. I would assume that training military members is considered mission critical
