Have any active duty checked their BOL for updates reflecting their selection?

Nope checked BOL around 1700 EST nothing was updated. My admin peps kept calling me sir but I did not receive notice from the captain. This was understandable since INSURV finished today.

No I thought that was only finsel which is a few weeks before ship date.
What about paperwork though? My recruiter told me paperwork would come in I’d have to fill out. Anyone do that?

I assume we’ll do all that when go to swear in? Idk exactly, I’m hoping the processor phone call will clarify.

I feel this in my core.

Lmao that Mikey comment is a real vibe. I can go about 2 minutes and I’m shaking at that point.

So what are ppl realistically at? And what’s the breakdown of times? I tried planking for time the other night for the first time in my life and got around 2min before I called it. I’m sure it’s easy to improve but have never trained for planks lol

I can do 2 minutes, but I’m shaking when I get to that point. If I really really push, I can maybe do 2 min 20 seconds but after that my form will start dropping. And this is without doing push-ups prior. So it’s gonna be interesting haha.
However, I still prefer planks to curlups. They’re better for your back and overall health.

Try to add 10 sec to your plank each day. Start at Day 1 with 10 seconds, day 2 with 20 seconds etc for a whole month. By the end you’ll have a 5+ min plank. A lot of it is concentration and your breathing.

Not OP but I’ll give that a try, thanks. I assume this works the same way if you can already make it 1 min, 2 min etc?

Yeah start at day 1 with 10 seconds even if you can hold a 2+ min plank. The first week or two might be easy for some, but the last two weeks are more challenging.

Yea that technique works well for most things like running, pushups, etc. I’m not worried about increasing my time, shouldn’t be too hard. I had just never practiced that so curious where ppl stood on that.
