Feb 2015 Supply DCO Board Cancelled

I do not have a joking relationship with my OR - he just sent me an email that said I was not professionally recommended. He said he literally just got the notice from the program manager and that he was told that 1 out of 7 were selected...
None of this adds up for me. Seems REALLY fishy.

Call another recruiter and ask what HIS/HER list says about your name?

Not selected. Nor were the two other guys from my region. OR told me 20 selected out of 188 applicants. Best of luck to all in future pursuits. I may head to the enlisted recruiter soon.

The numbers don't jive (one out of every 7 selected) and why would he not have updates about my kit until a short time ago when the entire list was out yesterday?

I'm not trying to be rude, but what do you suspect is going on? Do you think he isn't telling you the truth about when he got the list or your status? Covering for the fact that he messed up something on your packet and it wasn't reviewed?

I hate it for all of you guys who were not selected. I also hate that now I'll have to compete against even more strong candidates at the next board when you reapply. You guys are one hell of a qualified group! Keep your heads up!

I'm concerned it never got reviewed... if it did and he is just covering the fact that he took his sweet time getting me the info and is bs'ing that part, then fine... i accept that

I feel your pain slim, very frustrating. Even more so that we need to wait a couple of weeks to very feedback. Props to Issac for making it but I'm not going to lie I compare our stats and I'm baffled how I didn't make it. Should be interesting.

Feedback is:

Considered "whole package" look at candidates. Those with solid STEM degrees or strong business backgrounds were looked favorably on.

Feedback is always the same.

Yeah that's not feedback. I'm hoping to get a little insight into what they didn't like so I can determine whether to spend time trying again.

Yes kind of. I understand I may not get a lot but in my case it would be nice to know what stopped me from getting in so I can determine if it's something I can fix or not before I spend a bunch more time trying to do something that will never happen. I think if you look at my stats you will see why I'm concerned about why I didn't get in.

No reason to be concerned, the focus might not be on contracting this round.

You've got decent stats, pretty normal for the selects I've met in my class and other classes.

Sometimes it comes down to something small and seemingly stupid.

Well I don't know but I had multiple people tell me including one of my interviews that the Navy couldn't find people like me so it would be nice to know what that thing is to see if I can do anything about it.
