That answer from the beginning would have been fine. What did your class team say was acceptable?

Madcows 5x5 with the SEAL PTG is what I'm doing. PT part of OCS won't be an issue, just figured I'd try and replicate the correct movement instead of an incorrect one
The PT at OCS isn't bad it's the mental game that will get people. I know quite a few AW people that DOR'd because of the mental.

I am working towards finishing my packet to join you gentlemen on this board. Has anyone heard any further information on the timing of this board, can we remove the "" from April yet?

Unfortunately the "" will not be removed until the board actually meets. I have been told mid to late April. Anyone hearing different?

Haven't heard any different...my recruiter texts me each day (sometimes after checking CIRIMS. Don't know if that means he's expecting it soon or just being prudent

So, what I am getting from my recruiter is that my package is at CNRC. It will either get a pro rec yes or pro rec no. if its yes then it will wait until boards. if I am selected at boards then they will do the background check.

does that sound right? There are a lot of acronyms, slang, and assumptions coming at me that I know what this whole process is. Didn't hear from my recruiter for two weeks until I emailed them. I know they are busy but I feel out of the loop on such a potentially big part of my life.

If your packet is at CNRC... they will do a quick check and make sure it is board ready, similar to what your Processor did. If board ready, all you can do is wait until the board meets. The board will determine if Pro Y or Pro N. I believe the background check happens after Pro Y and must be done before you get your Final Selection letter.

My background check is already completed and I don't have a Pro Rec Y/N. They came and interviewed me and pretty much everyone I had ever talked to since high school. OPM just informed me if I did not get clearance or anything else came up I would be notified through my OR.

That is interesting. Very contrary to everythying ive heard so far. They really came to you face-to-face? I just confirmed from my OR that my pockage is waiting at CNRC to be Pro Rec Y/N and then it will go to boards. Nothing was mentioned of background at this moment.

Your background check is based off of when they send in your fingerprints and SF86. I can tell you that mine was submitted last May before my package and I got a secert 3 days later.

PQ is physically qualified by N3M. Then you have an even more in depth physical at OCS (if SNA). If you sent them in then you only need your background check in a "open" status. Some people get interviews I never heard from anyone. Most people that I know that got an interview missed something on their SF86 and/or they needed more info (unless going NFO). Secert is a type of clearance and mine was granted 3 days after my investigation was opened.

Yes. It was an investigator from OPM that really came to my house to interview me. She came to the houses of pretty much everyone I listed on my SF86.

What's crazy is that it only took Mr Spenz three days to get a secret clearance. You must have had a squeaky clean record and have lived only in one place.

The board will either pro Y or pro N you, not CNRC, the board if an "in house" board will be held at the NRC complex.
