Sam i think you have better things to do like whip that shop into shape and study your NATOPS. Quit coming up with excuses for not being an RO-I yet...I don't like excuses, I want results!

Valid point, the shop could use a good bit of whipping and that is definately in works as we speak. As far as RO-I, well according to a little birdie it hopefully isn't too far off. Only time will tell. Regardless though, I'm a good multi-tasker so I could do all the above and still obsess over results;)

You aircrewmen and talking about whipping the shop into shape.

I remember as a ground pounder that when the RO came back from deployment it was "I need time off for this and that and my gaping vagina hurts from being away from home and getting perdium" and before I knew it they were leaving again. You guys (and gals) didn't do diddley squat. LOL

In all honesty I really enjoyed my time there and I would love to come back there and talk smack with the reel op's any day of the week. AE2 Mullen and I would pull Starboard and Port when he was not on deployment and it was great.

So even 7 or so years ago our fellow ground pounders were in awe of the sheer awesomeness that is a United States Navy REEL Operator:icon_smil The reel shop is definately one of the best places to enact port and starboard. At least it will be when we finally get decent manning again.

Bake,
might be hard to believe, but Jeff went to the front of the bus, and is now at 3 as an AWF1...times change huh. yeah you know that the RO's are the armpit of the fleet, what can we say? At least we are on here trying to get the heck outta dodge and better ourselves!!! haha. i dont think it was the same crewman/gp battle as it is now though, they were a different breed back then.

Anyone have any idea at a possible time frame as to when results may actually be posted (early, mid, late October)?

that is awesome and at the same time not...lol so true though. I think traditionally it is suppose to be out around the 15th of Oct and no later than the 31st of Oct. (of course we know how that goes)

I'm the Command CCC. I set up all of my boards and put the finishing touches on my package myself. One thing I just noticed on the Precepts that someone posted was that they give points for GCM's. Did all of you put those in your packages? I hope I didn't cost myself three points:|

i did not put those in my package. i will probably be in the same boat as you then. i wish the instr was a little more specific about the additional documents to submit. I do agree it did say awards, but seriously....good conduct. come on, points for not getting in trouble should not be utilized for a commissioning program.

I agree. I jsut don't know if they only go off your package or if they have acccess to your ESR/OMPF (Electronic record), if so we'll be good.
