3 and 4 not completely true, I was picked first time up as a core and only 24! So if you think you got what it takes go for it!

No one else listen to this. None of us know what the Pre-board score is going to be.... I didn't max out myself according to the precepts posted earlier. I am a Chief (definitely not eligible for CORE) and was selected so it is not based on age / TIS. BLUF: If you want it, get it!!!

I hope you change your mind and continue to apply if this is what you really want.

Pret, don't let any of that discourage you! I'm too old to apply for CORE, but I got my target option! Apply, apply, apply! Work each year on making your package that much better! Don't ever give up!

I was selected as an alternate this year for SWO/ED. Congrats to all selects/alternates! For those of you who did not, there are always ways to improve your package and re-apply the next year. I have a lot to do in the next two weeks to give myself the best possible chance to get to go this year.

Wow, I was sure I wasnt going to make it after I saw the quotas, but I was selected for pilot! I want to thank everyone for their assistance. I definately couldn't have done it without everyones help. Thanks Airwarriors!!

"Skewed for older "Sailors" ? really? How do you define "older?" Maybe skewed for proven leadership and experience. Maybe even more so in a year where they only select half of the normal STA-21 applications. I would put my money on the safer bet if it was my money. Certainly when there is only so much to be spent.

oh well, it's my third time applying... i was an IW alternate last year and for sure thought id at least get alternate again this year... i don't get it
