If you don't have a date yet for OCS chances are you may get to enjoy another summer at home. According to my OR, OCS classes are almost completely full for June and July. Who really knows for sure though....

Mine wasn't nearly as painful of a process as I thought it was going to be. The waiver process has added about 3-4 weeks onto the process for me.

You have to wait for them to set up your extra visit to meps for the waiver, go to meps, then wait for the paperwork to get its final signoff after meps has determind you to be physically qualified for the waiver. Expect a one day visit for you + 3-4 weeks of paper pushing and waiting.

Called my OR today and got someone else's voicemail so I thought maybe I punched in the wrong extension, but noooo. Apparently my OR transferred and didn't let me know so now I have to call around on Monday to find out what is going on with my FS. It would be wonderful if it was just waiting to be signed, which is what i'm hoping for rather than counting on.

anyone heard any news on FS yet? Mine apparently is being held up in medical for who knows what now, other than that everything else is done so I'm trying to get this squared away so it can be signed off on ASAP!!

I just got my FS and OCS date!.........for November 1st

It sounds like OCS dates have been pushed back about 3 months from what my OR was saying due to budgeting issues. Later is better than never I suppose. I am on a waiting list in case an earlier spot opens up I will have about 2 weeks notice in the event a spot opens up sooner.

Congrats Makk! Im still waiting on my FS and OCS date. I can't believe you are not going until August. Doesn't look good for me, but I guess I can't complain about another summer in Chicago. Best of luck, maybe see you there.

We're not bitchin just overly anxious to get this party started!!.....On a side note I think I got my medical stuff squared away for some reason they still think i've had eye surgery and what not (no idea why!!) so hopefully everything gets signed off this week and being very optimistic I can swear in next week or the week after.

Yupp....Might be one of their favorite things to do, but the eye doctor hopefully put their theories to rest with my thorough and passing eye exam yesterday.

I don't want to hear any complaining from any of you March people. I got my pro-rec in February and I am still waiting on my FS.
