Yes proof of certs is critical. I have to admit my OR is on the ball. OCD about every detail in the package submission. I had to have proof of all certs provided with my kit

Is that how many people applied or how many the board is allowed to accept? Any idea on the numbers (applicants and available slots) for 1835s? Or how many usually apply? Good luck to everyone who applied.

I believe those are the numbers for the people that applied. However, those are not the final numbers. Usually over 130 people will apply for 1835 tho.

While it may appear that the officer board consistently selects a fixed number of individuals on each board, it’s important to note that without a strong dataset to make definitive conclusions it’s hard to derive a forecast. In a statistical context, since you mention average, one could formulate a null hypothesis suggesting no significant variation in selections, but again without robust data, we can’t test or reject this hypothesis effectively. The number alone may not provide a complete picture, as the selection process typically relies on various statistical criteria and merit-based assessments. Didn’t mean to nerd out on ya, but some of those keywords begged the response ?

There is a quarterly quad chart that is published showing the health of the community by designator. The OCM knows how many DCOs are required per board in order to sustain and its projected.

NRC has a goal to ensure enough of a specific designator are commissioned each year, your recruiter can let you know if he or she wants to how many spots are available each board. That doesn't mean they will use all of those spots they have available.
