Good luck. The time has finally come, going to board. Long haul for this KIT. I could write a chapter in my book for this process alone. Sept board convenes in 2 weeks. Now the wait…
So far I’m the only one vocal one on the roster for next week, despite the list being long.Anybody going to the board next week? I feel like the turn around is pretty quick this time around. It seem as the results come out 2 no later than 3 weeks after the board.
Thank you!Good luck to all who are on this board. May the odds be in your favor. I was selected 1835, non-prior, on the March board. Still awaiting commissioning but getting real good at hurry up and wait. lol

How many has it been in the past (number of applicants and number of selected)? That’s a lot for 1825!
my colleague, LCDR now, was 1 of 11 from the pool of 256 candidates for IP.That’s a lot for 1825!
Check out the applicable program authorization, the rule of thumb for DCO programs is 5-10 years of relevant work experience, but you can always shoot your shot if you have less than that.
I just want to recognize your knowledge and wisdom about this whole DCO process. It was this forum that I found out that letter of recommendations come from another officer holds much more weight than a civilian director joe schmoe. another member also said that we need to send our IT certs along with the package, or it will be incomplete. it seems like I had to ask my OR for everything instead of providing me what's needed to make my package much better. looking forward to FY-24 board in March 2024.I was using math as an example. The questions are intended to be broad and more focused on your character than anything.
