The unclas portion of it confirmed to the public that range fowlers are real and need to be taken seriously, if for no other reason than the safety of our aircrews. Not sure why anyone would anticipate more than that.

The only interesting thing I saw (in the CNN summary of it) was that they confirmed that (most/many/all?) of these events were not sensor anomalies. I think that was many of our best guess for what they were.

Pray tell, what long held national secrets does it reveal? I mean, this is the long awaited, end all, be all government finally coming clean about UFO report, right?
Long awaited? I got a copy of this back in high school. Project Blue Book.

So in 8 pages, the government managed to summarize what's been hashed out here repeatedly for 32 pages. Who said the bureaucracy isn't efficient?
TBH, I've pretty much summed the situation up in a single post, but idiots like @Hair Warrior keep imposing their vivid imaginations. Wonder where that dude went? Probably abducted by aliens, which would be a fitting end.

Whenever I see something like that, I flash back to my VT-10 days and the circulating story of the bird strike that took out the student in the front seat. Instructor sees feathers, blood everywhere, and the apparently dead student who's jammed the controls, and bails out. Student comes to, realizes he's all alone and decidedly NOT unafraid, and bails out as well. To this day, I have no idea if that's true.
