Is it true they are looking for younger adults these days to fill these Junior Officer positions? I feel like I saw that somewhere. I wish I got a 50 on the OAR instead of a 46

Unrestricted Line usually skews younger; SWO and NUPOC are capped at 29, aviation at 32. Restricted Line can go to 40+

If you enlist do so because you would be happy just being enlisted, not because you think it will give you a better chance of becoming an officer because that isn't really true.

Not yet - CO is waiting to release me for class up since we don't know our exact deployment schedule haha

Told the Skipper 25th of July but saw no available quotas... Trying real hard to slide into the August 15th class. That gives me a good enough gap to take care of my family and make it over there. Hoping we hear back something soon!

remember that the number of people on this site is a small percentage compared to those applying and accepted, and that those who are prior service seem more likely to be on this site than not, those facts could give a false appearance.
