...since I mentioned it.

Have you ever been inside that blimp hangar? It's all wooden framework - an incredible amount of wood.

lol. why don't you just start a thread.

Wow, it's beautiful!
No, they won't let us in there anymore. Something about lead and asbestos poisoning. You know they're going back and forth on wth to do with it now, it just sits there looking good, but entirely useless.

More like 30+ years. Here's the vaunted VX-4 AIM-ACEVAL team in their, well, trop working uniforms at Nellis AFB during height of the USAF-USN JT&E evaluating Tactics and Air-to-Air Missiles for the next generation that followed and beyond. Can anyone spot the infamous Joe "Hoser" Satrapa?

Their brand-new F-14A Tomcats had a helmet mounted sight and paint scheme devised by Hoser and patterned like Heater-Ferris paint scheme

I'm guessing the guy with the crazy soup strainer moustache......kind of like HJ's!! I'm sort of jealous..I could never ever grow a fine speciman of that sort....but I'll rock the sideburns!

Been there many times, back in the day. Hmmmm, wonder if I should be worried????:D

They were great landmarks when flying in in club aircraft in the usual crappy smoggy VFR conditions.

That's not the Seawolf. No fillet at the forward base of the sail. Good to see some ASW still going on...
