An F/A-18D Hornet, with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 332, takes off from their base at Al Asad, Iraq, Jan. 6 The primary function of an F/A-18D Hornet is to attack and destroy surface targets, day or night, under all weather conditions.
