I know the Army has done fly overs at A&M also, when we played West Point the flyover was made up of West Pointers and Aggies. We even had S-3s a while back when we played Citedel and the crew was made up of alumni from both schools.
I had a CO prohibit us from even the discussion of doing flyovers. The above examples and the resulting FNAEB's are the reason why... Cool as shit, but proves the adage "you can do anything you want on your LAST flight".
Man, I didn't realize how low he was until I watched the second vantage point... he's not much higher than the top of the stadium.
Besides being obviously too low, was it the maneuvering that got him in trouble?
Too low, too close to people, the maneuver, instilling a sense of fear, reckless... You name it, I'm sure they used the whole book. I'm not condoning anything, just telling a story from the CO.
On a related note, has anyone done any flying/advising for the film industry?
