Well that's the correct way to say it. I'm talking about general terms for a carbonated drink. It's a lot better than the Texas calling of everything coke and THEN asking what kind. Uh, coke is coke and if want something else I'd say it.

I've been to numerous states where they call all soft drinks "coke". I think people say coke all the time because they're too lazy to say Sprite, Mountain Dew, etc.

And I would venture to say that the majority of school projects tend to be a waste of time...I mean I can see how this one would teach the student to collect and categorize data...... but my point is in my view this serves no practical purpose.

I guess I see the data collected as pointless rather than the skills being taught, I should have been more clear. As a student I prefer to analyze actual data and got bored out of my mind when the teacher would have us count gumballs and sort them by color.
