Haha :D just trying to make a point. We haven't even been to boards and he's already wondering about leave.

Lol it's just another something to consider, so of course I'm wondering about it. Also I'll have to figure out what to tell her. I assumed I would miss it anyway, but it would be pretty sweet to get to go to Hawaii. :D I'm not too worried about missing family events. The military life is definitely one that'll take some getting used to, but I'm confident I know what to expect from it. Thanks for the input anyway @rick_s.

Hawaii definitely would be cool, I've always wanted to take a trip there. Like I said, not trying to be rude. I'm only talking from the experiences I've seen with my military family and friends.
I just noticed you're 3rd gen Navy in your sig so I'm sure you know all too well about military life lol.

@BusyBee604 So if I got a Jan/Feb OCS date, do you think afterwards there's a chance I could take a brief leave for my sister's wedding?
I can't even guess at that, you have no idea on when your board will meet, let alone an OCS grad date. Just way to far off to even venture a wild-ass guess?
