I've been collecting cartridges (bullets) for 15 years now. It's actually getting to be an expensive hobby. The last cartridge I bought cost me $80!!! ...yes for one cartridge. My collection is pushing 300 these days and most of the stuff I'm looking for now, most people haven't even heard of. Here's a few pictures of it:

What % of threads turn into firearms?

That I don't know but I do have a nice collection of guns (7) but my friend has a The Mark XIX Desert Eagle .50AE Pistol. He bought it while in Iraq. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet but it looks pretty bad a$$. Not to mention he one-uped me on the Glock by getting a .45 right after I got my .40 S&W. He knew I was torn between the 2. Ba$terd!

I have a pretty decent size baseball card collection from when I was a kid, mainly because I have a bunch of year box sets that my dad would get me as a birthday present every year. They'll be worth something someday.... at least thats what dad says.

That's cool. I lost all my baseball cards. I used to have thousands of Legos too. No more. :(

Three gun safes full....nothing out of the ordinary...except for a couple of Grendels, a .500 BFR, one NIB pre-64 M70 (.338), a Stoner 63A and a crappy little MAC-10. Only one shotgun. 117 in all. The fun toys are in Nevada....CA won't let me play with them here.

Have a Springfield 1942-dated M1 Garand. Purchased a 1944 Mauser over the weekend. That's about it for the guns. I love to collect anything WWII. Have a large collection of aviation-related WWII memorobilia like hats, helmets, goggles, oxygen masks, etc. My grandfather left behind a nice collection of his personal WWII belongings including a pic with him and Gen. Ike in England, 1944.

Getting Closer and Closer by the minute
Well I am up to 11 guns now with some of my recent purchases. Not really collector guns but i guess I do have a collection, and I plan on more.

List includes.

Colt AR-15 Sporter 1989 Date of Manufacture. 16 in Barrel w/ Flash hider, collapsable stock plenty of Mags, also have a spare 20 inch H-Bar match grade chrome lined with harris bi-pod and 3-9 rubber armored scope.

SLR-95 (Ak-47 knockoff) All black, no real extras, plenty of Mags

Springfield Armory Ultra Compact 1911 (just bough from my dad)

H&K USP .40 (full size) with Flashlight mounted on rail, plenty Mags

Springfield Armory XD .40 and XD 9mm. Both sub compact with 3 Mags each and a pair of XMLs with Lasers on order.

H&K P2000k in 9mm. I just paid for it and am awaiting its arrival at my gun shop I use.

Ruger 10/22 w/ plenty of Mags and a scope.

Remington 597 .22 cal w/ scope and 4 mags.

Remington 597 Magnum .17 HMR w/ scope and 4 mags

20 Guage Shot Gun.

Soon I plan on picking up a Remington 700 Super Shadow in .308, an M-1 Garand from that CMP place some of you guys have used. A Glock 23, an H&K USP Compact in .40 cal. A Sig Pro, and a Bennelli M-1 Super 90 from my friend.
This will take me another year or so to collect all of these, but I will have a nice little collection then. I love shooting, my friends and I go to the range a lot and I shoot a few times a week with my friend that was injured in a motorcycle accident. He is unale to ride now so this is something that we can do together in place of riding (we used to ride all of the time, and now we dont have that activity to share anymore). Shooting is a great hobby.

Dude, that 950 is SWEET!!!! Also what do you think about that 7mm round you have pictured, it looks like a cool round. Also, what firearms come in that 5.8, that looks like an interesting round as well. Thanks for the answers.

I don't have an experience with any 7mm's, having 2 270 Winchesters (which I'm a firm believer in) I didn't need much else. There are 10-15 7mm's. The new 7mm WSM (winchester short mags) are outstanding along with the 7mm Rem SAUM (short action ultra mag). 7mm Rem Mag is always a good cartridge, 7mm Dakota is a very hot cartridge.

That 950 was made for 3000 yard benchrest shooting.....(wtf) the rifle weights over 120 lbs and the action alone weighs 18 lbs.

I'll let Fly Navy answer the question about the 5.7. I have it mislabeled. Tactical weapons are right up his alley.
