Aircrewman see the COD from a different light and I've only ever heard it called sexy by them. The have certainly earned that opinion. From a pilots perspective, specifically mine, the COD is a flying tractor, not sexy, fun or appealing. Per diem, bars, alcohol, women, beer, women make it worthwhile. Otherwise, there is nothing exciting about the thunder pig. IMHO of course .

IMHO, when I was a LAMPS lackey I would have traded with a COD guy in a heartbeat. Maybe not a 46 guy, but a COD guy could swap seats with me any day. Good schedule, good money, good scenery... basically, what you said .
