I looked at mine, Valley Clothing was the maker.
Norva/Oceana in 1980's this was pretty common. SDB's, white shirt with epealuts (a fairly new thing) , sans SDB jacket and G-1.The other dumb thing is that the SWO leather jacket can be worn with summer whites and service dress blues, but not the brown G-1. If youre in your office I truly don't think anyone would care but dress blues with the G-1 would look incredible.
Yeah, embroidered only seems odd, I think leather looks way better on the jackets I have seen. I don't think anyone will honestly care.
Also, the part for the CWU-36/45 jackets - "Patches may be affixed to the CWU-36/P Summer weight jacket either by hook and pile (Velcro) or directly to the jacket at the discretion of the individual, subject to Commanding Officer guidance....In all cases, patches will be in conservative and will be reflective of naval aviation professionalism."
Does this mean that patch jackets are officially a thing? It doesn't state where or how many patches are allowed, just the nametag.
