Speaking of A-3s, here's a pic I snapped with my iPod at North Island last week. #77
Looks to be an EA-3 with all the nose and tail add ons. I know the Navy quit flying the A-3 in the 1990s...I was a bit surprised to see some still in active use.

They've updated the aerial photos of the boneyard at David-Monthan with some really high res shots, there is some pretty interesting stuff in there. Don't be surprised if you spend quite a while looking around, you can zoom in enough to see the tail numbers on most of the planes it's visible.

Wow... a loss of a fine WWII fighter doesn't equate to anything to make light of in my book. If you look at the vid, the Skyraider pilots looks like HE over~banked and struck the 'stang.

From the file of obscure Lockheed designs... I was flipping through an old book about the JSF and they had the various failed projects that led up to the F-35, like the CALF, JAST, A-12, X-36, etc. I'd be willing bet this was on the hard drive of whoever "designed" the J-20-
