Speaking of A-3s, here's a pic I snapped with my iPod at North Island last week. #77
Looks to be an EA-3 with all the nose and tail add ons. I know the Navy quit flying the A-3 in the 1990s...I was a bit surprised to see some still in active use.

Great link! While perusing, I found something at 32.161502,-110.858892. Looks photoshopped with no shadow.

Pave Hawk screwing around at Crater Lake, I love the brilliant observation of the camera man "My guess is he's having fun..."

From the file of obscure Lockheed designs... I was flipping through an old book about the JSF and they had the various failed projects that led up to the F-35, like the CALF, JAST, A-12, X-36, etc. I'd be willing bet this was on the hard drive of whoever "designed" the J-20-

Wow... a loss of a fine WWII fighter doesn't equate to anything to make light of in my book. If you look at the vid, the Skyraider pilots looks like HE over~banked and struck the 'stang.

Here is a link to the best HD video posted on Warbird News by far. Watch it full screen if you can....Follows the Mustang all the way through the flyby, climbout, collision and bailout......

What exactly would the takeoff at around 4:45 be described as? I seem to recall reading about Mike Durant ripping out the tail-wheel attempting a similar maneuver.
