That got the heart rate up a little. Stupid question: do they just teach you spin recovery in flight school in case it happens or do they make you intentionally enter them and then recover?
^Agree with bunk. I was super scared the first time I spun the T-6. After the first time and I saw that as long as you follow the procedures, you'll be fine, I was good with it.
Just remember... full opposite rudder.
When the pilot said "looks like were going to need the chute, lets pop it now."
Is he talking about a parachute on the back of plane? I initially thought he might be referring to the chute strapped to his body, but now I'm not so sure seeing as how he didn't eject.
