My Diver 0-5 is recently retired. Are yours all supply corps? My ORR said that I had to have two LOR's from Supply O-4 or higher.

No, mine are not from Supply Officers, (2) are pilots and the other was a Civil Engineer. Haven't heard that one before.......having to have LOR's from the same community. Now, I was told by my OR and others that our interviews had to be from SELRES. I ended up completing (5) interviews that are submitted w/ my package. How many did you end up w/ if you don't mind me asking?

From my OCS packet I had 14 LOR's. I'm not sure how many the ORR used for the USNR packet. He did say that I needed two LOR's from O-4 or higher in the community I was applying to (Supply Corps). I already had an O-5 SUPPO that he used and I grabbed another O-4 SUPPO from SOCOM. He then said he used my O-5 SOCOM Diver LOR as well for the packet. He may have used my O-6 as well but I'm not sure. He's been sharp as a tack and on it so I'm sure he used what he needed. I also have strong civilian ops/logistics background so I'm not sure if he dialed back the LOR's or not. "Shrugs" Either way the one thing he was pushing in the beginning was the two LOR's from O-4's or higher in the USNR Officer track you were applying to.

Interesting........didn't even think about that one. Well it is what it is, and I guess we'll see what happens. Good luck to you and others. Hopefully, we will have some news here shortly!

I believe they are only allowed to submit 3 professional appraisals with each packet. The "Competetive Profile" sheet says:

Officer Interviews:
Required to obtain a minimum of two. Reserve Supply Corps Officers (one can be from an O4, and the other from an O5 or above).

Mine are:
Reserve O7 (SWO)
Reserve O6 (Suppo)
Reserve O5 (Suppo)

But I think one never knows what the Board members are looking for, or what they stringently enforece or not. We'll find out in 2 weeks.

I think your good buddy. You have solid LOR's and from what I gather the board takes what people say about you into consideration the most and I'm sure these officer gave you beaming reviews! Good luck to you too!

That's pretty impressive you got an O7.....good luck!

I had:
(3) CAPT's (2 SELRES, 1 SWO)
(2) CDR's (SELRES)

Anyone have any feedback on the board? Did they meet? Are we counting down the days to hearing back? I'm somewhat bummed I have pending job offer in CA and I would really like to know before accepting and moving.

Patiently waiting, don't think we will hear until sometime next week. Waiting is the worse. I kind of wonder where all of the interested candidates are. This site use to be booming with people searching for info and chatting. I know the pool of candidates is still high.

One week down ladies and gents.... I have not heard anything from the Tampa office and they are pretty good at up to date stuff. I guess it really blows my mind when I think about the numbers selected. Only been working on this for the past 14 months. Rumor has it we are sitting on 40-50 slots but does anyone have realistic numbers on the candidate pool? I know from Tampa there was a total of 3 DCO Supply Candidates.... I'm going with 180 (3x60 offices?)

I'm like you........haven't heard anything either. My OR just told me this week we'll know.

There is (4) of us that where sent up. However, that was just my OR. Not sure about the district. Be sure to post when anyone knows something!

I'm in the Detroit Area, I don't believe there was 4 of that put in this board, maybe only 1 or 2 but I tink my recruiter covers the part of north Indy area, Detroit. Never really know.

It seems that applicants have consistantly been in the mid to high 200's. Last year they actually closed the board and there were 20-30 applicants (myself included) that had applied but were not even seen.

It IS weird that traffic here has fallen off so much, but I think the numbers are identical. I'm assuming selection rate will be ~18-20%.

No word yet out here in Los Angeles.

When you mean seen, meaning your package never made it to board? Did your OR tell you before the board met that it wasn't seen or did you have to wait to find out after the board finished. I would hate that as there would have been no reason to wait it out. I know I inquired with my OR about the rcent changes with the government and if it affected this board and he told me no not this board but I guess future boards. They have already basically cut Supply to one board a year anyway. I remember before hearing in past years the board had selected as many as 80, sucks that the numbers have decreased open slots.
