I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the most classic of all bits of air show disinformation:
(Referring to the cabin relief tube on a -60): "Yeah, that's the backup intercom system so that the crew can talk to the pilots in the noisy aircraft. Now, you have to hold it really really close to your mouth and ear to avoid interference."

Damn thing never works 100% either. Gotta lick the rim and get a good seal against your mouth. Give it a shot.
