We haven't done they yet in my class but when we did run, we'd normally put the faster folks up front in the packFor some of the runs, don’t they break out into groups based on run times?

If i understand your question correctly, you're asking about how the teaching/training as been going? So far, easier than expected. Im not saying it's a walk in the park; I don't always sleep much, there's typically something stressful to deal with, adapting to the class team expectations, etc. The only really hard thing, that I've done so far is RLP (because its so subjective) and our class punishment (1000+ word, hand written essay on building procedures, recruit hand writing style. No mistakes; if any you start over. Plus every word has to be numbered and you cant make a mistake with the numbering either. Black pen only).@DBM, how have the didactics been? Harder/easier than you thought before going?
I’ve heard stories of people failing RLP just for looking at the DI the wrong way haha. Thanks for the reply! That essay sounds so brutal, I guess you really are at the mercy of your senior class. The only really hard thing, that I've done so far is RLP
Yeah it depends who you get for your grader.I’ve heard stories of people failing RLP just for looking at the DI the wrong way haha. Thanks for the reply! That essay sounds so brutal, I guess you really are at the mercy of your senior class.
The handful of runs we did, yes, this was the case. For some of the runs, don’t they break out into groups based on run times?
This is interesting bc we never did this when I was there. They kinda just let us loose around the training country loopThe handful runs we did, yes, this was the case.
Slow, medium and fast groups.
Keeping that stuff clean all the way up to the inspection is a tall order tho, any speck of dust can be considered contraband lolYeah it depends who you get for your grader.
My grader was a bit more chill and I got asked some fairly simple bravo questions, at least I think they were (study bravo before you come if possible!) You can auto fail before the inspection fully starts because of things such as dirty head (toilet area) water on the deck (floor), water in the shower/sink, random strands of hair, unset thermostat to auto (lol), and that's basically the majority, if not all the auto fails. But it’s not as bad as it seems in person. You gotta have 0 attention to detail to auto fail haha
You still have class PT, at least up until you're a Candio, and if need be, you could self PT I belive. But for the current stand down, you PT on your own. Normally on the weekend you will have time to run/workout; certain privileges vary per class team. How much time you get honestly depends on what you have going on. If you have to go to chow at 1700 as a class and you have time after lecture(s) (15:30), for example, well you have 1hr 30 minutes. And you could continue after chow if you like and so long as there arent any obligations you need to take care of. Again, this is just an example.Really appreciate everyone's replies with this! To make sure I'm reading it correctly, class dependent, after indoc you essentially have "self PT" time and would be able to run/workout on your own? how much time do you get for these?
