Last year, only two people were picked up for Medical Corps. They were both from the Special Warfare community. A SOC and SO1. That was pretty daunting to see as an HM who is nearing completion of my degree.

These SO's might be the team corpsmen, who knows. Although the team guys' rate will always be SO, each member still has his specialty; these guys may have gone to corps school and 18D, making them SEAL corpsmen.

I'm in the same boat (so to speak), hoping that the number of pilot applications are down. I have gotten mixed opinions on the competitiveness of my ASTB scores.
