That's why I always take Hollywood showers.
Apparently the fact the new 'battleship' would not be delivered by 2028 may have been a factor in SECNAV's relief, possibly not helped by the Secretary suggesting utilizing foreign shipyards to meet the timeline.
Looks like Phelan was hoisted by his own petard. Which is what happens when you work for a toxic boss in a toxic culture.
I don't envy anyone in DC, ever, but especially now.
