Nice. I seem to recall hearing of a couple mids on exchange at the AFA who repainted an F-4 in Blue Angel markings awhile back . . .

They do all sorts of fun pranks at the academies. I seem to recall that one year the mids hung a big "Go Navy Beat Army" banner from the dorm hall at the military academy the weekend of the Army/Navy game. Can't remember the exact year, though. Was pretty recent I think.

Yeah, I remember taking a baseball bat to the windshield of a Zoomie's Mustang plebe year during AF week. Those silly times.

Yeah that was during Finals Week. It looked alot better before they had to wash it.

Army bleached a big "A" into our grass in front of one of our buildings... I don't know if Air Force did anything... In my company, our exchange AF Cadet was in white works (the plebe summer uniform) the week before the Air Force game... good times.

Some of the best pranks are the ones done against upper class/"the man".

My room was never touched... My roommate at the start of first semester would take a windex bottle, empty it, and proceed to spit (dip), piss, and jizz into it. When it came time for Army week to roll around, the first guy in the door would get a spray in the face, and our room remained untouched for the rest of the week. It was nice...

Before they renovated Bancroft, you could climb up in the ceiling, and crawl across the showers over to other rooms. As a plebe, there were a couple of upperclass trying to get into our room, so I did just that - and trashed their room from the ceiling. They had a nasty surprise when they got done messing with us. They were laughing and asked us how we did it...

I had one of my squadleaders from plebe summer douse my pillow with itching powder (ground up fiberglass). In return, I used some of my prior-AE skills to rig his door...with electricity. Every time he touched it, he caught a blast of current from the outlet. That earned me a beer and his undying respect, as he actually was an alright guy. He warned the rest of the upperclass that I was not to be trifled with, as well, and that really worked out well.

I wish we had some more rivals here at VMI. At least we know that our cheerleaders can beat up the cadets at El Cid.

The really mean one I remember is "penny-ing" the door to a room. Basically you just keep shoving a bunch of pennies into the doorjam while it is shut, and then it is impossible to open. I think the trick has been strictly banned, but I'm not holding my breath. Ahhh, good times...

Edit: Other mean tricks that I remember are hiding alarm clocks in the ceiling and waxing gay porn into their floor.

Yeah, over in the projects (6th wing-the last wing to be rennovated) there was a guy doing that. But something went terribly wrong and he fell through the ceiling. I think he got in a good amount of trouble for that.

The best I ever saw was when myself and a bunch of other plebers were feeling pretty proud after moving the Tomahawk. We're walking back when all of a sudden we see something turning the corner by Lejuene. A whole company (including the entire company staff) was moving the F-4 (it was only bolted to the ground at the time). Their plan was to take it to T-court. They had it all planned out with a rope system and even asked everyone on Captain's row to not park on the street that night. Of course the jimmy legs came and ruined all the fun. A couple weeks after that the F-4 was welded to the ground. Good times though.
