Good morning, all! With the results for the 11AUG25 IWC board recently being release I figured it'd be reasonable to set up a discussion space for all us anxious overthinkers to talk about our package and help release some of the anxiousness that's associated with the wait!


This will be my first look at the board - applying for INTEL.

My package -
  • Age: 22
  • OAR: 51
  • GPA: 3.96
  • Degree field: Cybersecurity
  • Active-duty Navy; 4 years of experience pertaining to INTEL
  • Decent Appraisals and Recommendations from O-6 +
  • No Waivers…

It's wild how it took so long for the last board to be resolved that our board is now right around the corner. 🤣

Package Designator Selections:
1. MCWO
2. CWO

Prior Enlisted Navy Service: Cryptologic Technician Collection - 4 years

Education: Comp Sci BS w/ 3.4 GPA

OAR: 54

Currently working in compliance.

Looking forward to getting judged with everyone!

Hopefully the Navy's wild recruitment numbers don't screw with our selection stats too much.

  • OAR: 63
  • GPA: 2.9 (GPA waiver granted)
  • Degree field: Film + Computer Science
  • No military experience. Just 20 years of leading my own businesses.
  • 6 x LOR's - 1) USN O6, 2) USN O5, 3) USAF O5, 4) Civillian Fortune 500 Director, 5) ex-NFL athlete & college professor, 6) Raytheon quantum cryptology PhD
  • Age & GPA waivers.
Just rec'd the call this morning from NTAG, not recommended. But final nonetheless.
He mentioned 149 applicants. 83 Yes, 66 No. I think this must've been for Aug board...?

Wait, are you in the right place? This board is for the 27th of Oct IWC, so wouldn't those numbers refer to a board that has already convened?

I think you are right. I was supposed to be in 27 OCT board, but NTAG said they were able to get me into an earlier board. I'm assuming this was the 11 AUG board. Just sharing stats.
