Yes, they are held together. Although from what it sounds like this board was AD/Civilian SNA applicants and only AD SNFO applicants. I'm not positive this is true, just going off what rufi0 and nopo said previously.

The SNFO was cut off to civilian applicants starting at a certain point, but the civilian applicants that got their kit in before then are included.

It is a similar situation when congress and other law makers do not take the time out to notify all law enforcement and lawyers. It is up to them to dig and find out. The plain fact is... many officer recruiters are are just not that good at their jobs. Many of them simply do not know how to answer applicants' questions and not take the initiative so really seek out first hand information. Instead, many of them go off of hear say. There are some out there who really know what they are doing and really keep up to date on their information.

I know the struggle. I called my processor and OR a few times today with no answer. OR replied to a text a few hours ago and said he didn't know anything about it and that it was probably rumors, but will check again Monday. I'm so anxious

That's a pretty hefty assumption having never been in their shoes. I think the reality of the situation is more likely attributed to a massive shift in the armed forces. Down-sizing the overall force while still maintaining the quality of work is a very thin line to walk. Many of the billets, such as recruiters and instructors, see the financial and manpower cuts first and are expected to maintain past results with less, leaving the same responsibilities to fall on a fewer number. Your recruiter has his primary job but also has collateral or secondary jobs that all must be completed to make the overall military machine work and overtasking is a common occurrence. To wrap this up, jumping to an overall assumption about recruiters in general is a mistake without knowing all the facts.
