YGBSM.

You know why the Navy bought P-3's don't ya?

So Hummer guys would have an airframe to laugh at!

Still better looking than an C-2 or an S-3.

Sexy may not be a good word to describe the war pig, but it is stately.

The LHA picture was awesome (unless the well deck is suddenly opened to Phrogs, I'll probably never see that view), but the rest of the pics were terrible. ;)

Yeh I didn't figure those would be too popular among the phrog crowd that seems to pervade this forum, nothing against phrogs of course.

Just in case you're curious, there's alot of Phrog guys on this board for a couple of reasons:

1. It's been around a long time. Since 1964 to be exact.

2. It's the largest community for pilots in the Marine Corps (soon to be that Ospreys are the largest community), there used to be a total of 16 CH-46E squadrons in the USMC/USMCR (T/O of 28 pilots per) - although those numbers are dwindling because of the Osprey.

3. Old Phrog pilots don't just go away - they move on to other platforms. There are a number of guys that flew Phrogs and now fly the Osprey.

Sorry, I guess my use of the word "pervade" had a negative connotation. I know how sensitive phrog pilots are, it won't happen again!

Semper Fidelis!

I think I can help you out there. Some were taken from my phone and the rest from various events.
