I'll be (back) there in May. Can't wait...it's been a few years since I've been around a track.

The quickest accelerating and worst handling bike I ever had was purchased at the NEX at NAVCOMMSTA San Miguel, Philippines in late 1971. For whatever reason, there were only Kawasakis on offer. I still remember what I paid: $759 for a 500cc Mach III two-stroke.

I also owned to one of these, and you're certainly correct about its performance.Working at a Kawasaki dealer I also rode several times the 750cc version , which was the same on steroids. Hair on fire acceleration on peaky two stroke power curve.
