Dude, you were the Legal O without going to Legal O Skool? I think I would have committed seppuku with a rusty spoon first.
 
Yeah, you're not kidding. Luckily, though, I had a metric ass ton of help from my Legal/Admin Gunny, and had a standing reservation with a few of the folks over at MCAS legal, who saved my ass on a regular basis. I probably still owe them beer. I think the FITREP and Navy Comm I wrote for the Gunny probably got him 1stSgt, too, so that worked out.
