It's fixed and FMC.

Oh, and vice pay for parts, I had MWR put another FREE KEG out next Friday. So go to the club and drink free beer and ride the KING KAT.

I REPEAT. FREE BEER. PAID FOR BY ME. GO DRINK FREE BEER.

Good show Master, they should put you in for a NAM for executing this strategic mission.;)

"Jet" Freshly painted, with the floor board fix. Do not let BMWs jump up and dance in it in the future. (no shit, that's what the bartender told me for how it broke.. 400+ pound woman, "dancing" while standing on the floorboards. Not sure how she fit in the seat. I'm 260, and it's tight for me.

View from the seat, fresh paint on the rails, some "bumps" removed from the track (someone but BOLTS and taped pennies to a rail.. um, that's why it was derailing. Duh.) New springs, new cables.

I wrote the names of the people who helped build it. If I missed you, sorry, it's been 4 years and I can't remember everyone.
Also wrote the replacement parts, and my email so people can get a hold of me for tech support.

Another view of the track with new springs.

DO NOT PUT BOLTS ON A TRACK. BAD SHIT HAPPENS.

Floor after 400# BMW, before repairs.

Busted ass springs. And paper clips taped to the track.. Again, derailment issues.

Hook Point had become more of an L shape. I reforged it.

Funny you mention that.. I got a #1 EP FITREP by the CTW-2 Commodore and a NAM from the NASK Base CO for building this originally. I did it for fun, and to make the O'Club a better place. Same reason I came down to fix it for the next winging party.

This is literally the only thing that makes me wish I'd gone to Krock. Well played Master. Well played.

Awesome dude! I would have been there to help but I'm on leave in Phoenix right now. (Phoenix is August... effing hot...)

Glad it's FMC, thanks for putting the work in! I'll post some pics from the winging on the 24th.
Pay it forward my man, pay it forward. Find the reserve instructors and talk Master up (since he can't be there to rush).

Mechanism looks good. Surely an engineering type knows of some metals that don't corrode at the same rate as steel. Heck, I'm a SWO and I'll chip in for some higher tech springs if need be. The O'Club Mgr should try some Spectracide or Round Up. Nothing like "bush" getting in the way of a good approach? Or is that simply a linear equation that I'm no longer familiar with?

Cables are stainless, most everything else is galvanized. SS or Ti springs are not cost effective, or available at Lowes.
