Jonny Kim solos the T-6

He's going to be an IP in K-Vegas? How does that work?
How did David Robinson commission as a CEC officer out of USNA and serve just two years active at Kings Bay, balance SELRES supporting Recruiting Command? Shit works when the right people find motivation.

supposedly he's going through the FITU, going to be a full-time instructor for about 3 months, then a weekend warrior type instructor to help the wing out and keep his hours up. He's flown in the T-38 from the back seat several times, I guess there aren't many options for him to keep flying at nasa with his limited aviation experience

Seems like he'd be a shoe in for Artemis 3 if he stays current as a jet IP.

That said, he did grow after he got to the Academy above line officer height restrictions.

I remember the case. His rate of growth at the academy was extraordinary. He wanted to be a submarine officer and he was too tall for subs and aviation. My recollection is he could have been a SWO, but being an ordinary SWO and serving out a full four year academy payback was not conducive to an NBA career. As an officer program recruiter at the time , I can say that his work for recruiting command was ernest and useful. He did more for the Navy in the NBA as a reserve officer , then he would have as a JO on a DDG in Norfolk.
