Hey I'm just here to strike up some Conversations thats it. I think this is my best yet. I think its funny how the thread changes from Jon Stewart to the 2000 presidential election, it really is amazing.
 
Hey guys, I thought it might be fun to throw in my two cents.

As a former reporter and editor, you get both sides in a newsroom arguing about the story. I was a lone Republican in a newsroom of Democrats. Talk about some fiery discussions about what should see print and what shouldn't! ;)

Just remember -- what you read in print isn't always necessarily the views of everyone that writes the paper.

And honestly, I'm so sick of party lines ... shouldn't it be about the issue itself?

I covered the 2000 election by the way. Crazy. Crazy.
