Gun Laws in your state

Legal issue: Moving to different states with evil weapons

I'm not at risk of it right now, but if down the line I get orders to Commiefornia, what do I do with my evil weapons? Am I allowed to have them since I'm not a resident, or do I have to store them in another state? Right now I only have one, but an AK and AR are on my list as well.

I am sure there are plenty of people on here who would store that in their gun safes.

I'd buy a gunsafe just to let you store that in... under the condition that I get to put a few rounds through it.

Call the Department of Firearms in California, it's part of their DOJ. They are pretty helpful when it comes to answering questions about what is and isn't legal in the state.

I concur on the gun safe. I bet most of the guys on my department who own firearms are considered felons due to not registering them a couple years ago. As the saying goes, "Registration leads to confiscation."

If I were you, I would bring all your heavy artillery with you and thumb your nose at Senator Dianne NotSoFeinStein and all the other 2nd amendment hating commies over here.

Hell, I'll store your stuff in my safe if you want. I live in san Diego near San Diego State.

Just don't get stopped by CHP (Can't Handle Policework). They'll arrest you for sure.

Bottom line, we're hosed for a minimum of 2 years. Hopefully the idiots will realize what an abortion a LW house, senate and Executive branch will bring. They reap what they sow. :(

time to spend some dinero before january, i guess. i wish i had enough extra cash laying around for an evil bushmaster AND a handgun. guess i'll just have to choose which one they're more likely to ban...High Capacity mags or the ability to conceal a weapon, which do the libs hate more???

They'll certainly go for both. I'd get the lower for an AR (the part with the serial) then buy a used high cap semi-auto pistol and with whatever is left over buy AR parts like high cap a magazines.

I am in texas, after all, so I'm hoping as long as the Feds don't go all brady on me again, I'll be alright as far as a handgun goes.

The gun control issue is largely a loser for Democrats, I don't think it is high on their agenda and I doubt there will be significant legislation passed.

Communist China, Fascist Italy, Communist Russia (1929+), as well as many other totalitarian regimes had restrictive gun laws...

...but so does the UK, Canada, and Australia...
