Girls with Guns, what's wrong with that?

^^
I blame that one of the photographer, not the model.

I thought we couldn't call it "Jane Wayne Day" anymore. Maybe it was just a TBS/Quantico/HQMC's backyard type deal.

I don't know about that but apparently they got to play with the big guns too!

It's still "Jane Wayne" day on most units' advertisements. PC hasn't infected everywhere, yet.

So for 'bring your daughter to work day', can I get my little girl some stick time???

Back in November of 1998:

FORT STEWART, Ga. - Three soldiers have been charged with conspiracy and involuntary manslaughter in a military helicopter crash in the Bahamas that killed the wives of two of the men.
The Army announced the charges today against chief warrant officers David Guido and Daniel Riddell and Sgt. William Westgate, all of whom are assigned to Fort Stewart, near Savannah.
The July 6 crash of a UH-60 Black Hawk on Grand Exuma Island killed Pam Guido and Rebecca Riddell.
"There's no provision for the family members to be aboard an Army aircraft that we know of that applied in this circumstance," base spokesman Rich Olson said today.
The crew had been sent to the Bahamas to participate in an anti-drug program with the Bahamian government.

Yeah, I thought about that story for a second when I joked about getting away with stuff-like joking about "let's fly under the bridge" or "go play in the traffic." That Black Hawk crash was bad for a lot of different reasons.

Back to 'bring your daughter to work day,' you could probably find a kiddy size flight suit at the museum gift shop, get the PRs to figure out the rest of the ALSS, then finally prop her up with some pillows or phone books so she can see over the glareshield. :)

She'd probably do better than I did during my FAM-1.
