Just for clarification, for a DCO 1825 is the IP Basic Course (twenty weeks) a requirement?IWBC is not a requirement for 18X5.
IWO qual within 60 months of commissioning.
RDIVOLC or RILC every 5 years.

Yes. Did you ask your recruiter about what is required?Just for clarification, for a DCO 1825 is the IP Basic Course (twenty weeks) a requirement?
I am in the same boat as you. I reached out to my recruiter Monday and they said they don’t have results yet. I am also staying hopeful, and congrats to all selected!I asked my OR if he had an update on results Friday and he responded back he had not heard anything yet. I have yet to hear back this week. Either not a good result, or a misunderstanding on my OR’s part about where results are up and available. Staying positive and hopeful, congrats to all those selected.

I would agree, I could be wrong here, but I believed most people received results by the 17th of last week.Anyone still waiting on results? I reached out to my OR last week and they said someone was going to reach out to me soon but haven't heard anything since. Seems kind of odd to be waiting this long when results have been out for a while.
Hi all!
Longtime lurker here, I've been in the process of applying for 1835 for two years now, as administrative challenges kept me from fully finishing the package (which wasn't in my control). I'll be submitting for this upcoming board.
My stats:
-Former PO2 (3 years sea duty FDNF, non-intel rate)
-Various internships in think tanks, some fellowships, ~1.5 years of DoD defense analyst time
-Ivy league plus BA (liberal arts, 3.7 GPA)
-Ivy league plus MA (different school, IR & defense focus, 3.85 GPA, will grad next year)
-volunteering with Team Rubicon (disaster relief NGO) and counseling veterans for post-secondary school admission.
-Proficient in one romance language, elementary in one of the more in-demand but non-critical ones.
-LORs from an GS13 IC analyst, extremely high performing 1830 O4, Defense Intel GS15. Ignoring their titles, they know me very well and their letters help make my story more compelling.
I was thinking about what selection criteria are left in my control, and arrived at interview prep. So, other than some mock interviews, what does airwarriors think about improving my chances of selection (looking at you, FormerRecruitingGuru)?
Looking forward to sharing any experiences and information I have in the coming months! Feel free to DM or quote me, and I'll do my best to help!
Maybe you misread or I didn't articulate myself correctly, I have a year and a half, almost two, of time working as a defense intelligence analyst inside of DoD. This job is actually why I'm not walking the active duty path, plus I want to stay in the area I am in -- that plus my enlisted time is 6 years of working.I don’t see any work experience that directly relates to Intel.
I would suggest going the OCS/active duty route as it appears you’re a full time student with little work experience.

My fault & apologies! You said internships and fellowships, not an actual full-time job.
I still haven't heard if I've been selected or not, I've tired calling and emailing my OR over the past couple weeks but haven't anything from them since mid April. I understand people go on leave but its been a month since results have been released I figured I would have heard something by now.Anyone still waiting on results?
