Feb 2015 Supply DCO Board Cancelled

Yeah I don't know I haven't talk to him yet so I'm not sure what if any kind of feedback I get but this may have been my only shot. I have no confidence they will hold another board anytime soon. Hoping to get some feedback and them weigh my options even if it is talking to another service. Just a big disappointment after two years of trying and what I thought and was told was some very solid stats.
How many prior service years do you have?

I think he's referring to his age. He also has 4 years prior Navy. I looked back earlier after he posted non-select because I recall folks saying his stats were they best they had seen (which he refers to in a recent post) so it makes you wonder what they were looking for this board. Sorry to hear that, Lockup!

Yes age is an issue. I'm 44 so if I have to do 20 by 60 this was basically it. It might be 62 but given how many boards that have been cancelled of late not sure I will get another chance.

Only one board per year for the next 4-5 years per my source. I'm with you, this is my only shot before I age out. Still waiting to hear from my OR but since it is after 5 here, I don't expect to hear from him until tomorrow... No sleep for me tonight...

Yeah I'm not sure I want to wait another year for a board that may have 10 open slots again. I have an undergrad in IT so I was told Intel was am option but my quals were so good for supply that was my best route. I might have a conversion with the air force as well

Well, I didn't make it... Maybe next board!
Sorry to hear that. I have not heard yet but after looking at your stats I am not confident. What on earth could they possibly be looking for in a candidate if you were not selected? Best of luck on your next try!

October.

In no rush to make Ensign Upper Half.

Being a clueless ensign is vital to the training process.
Are you prior enlisted or NCO? I would suspect the powers that be would expect you to be a little less clueless than the average enzyme. At least enzyme upper half adds a little more to the drill pay...

Nope. No prior service.

An Ensign is an ensign. you might have great corporate knowledge, but how that transfers into Navy supply systems knowledge is questionable.

Pre-Navy, I had no clue what milstrips were, had no idea the food service system was so......tedious.

It's just expected that you will be able to keep up with the paec of the education program, be more mature (... i mean.. KINDA more mature, I have a feeling you'll be told legends about my BQCNR class for a few cycles), etc.

Before I find out about any legends, I'd like to find out if I was selected or not... My OR sucks at correspondence...
