Interpreting laws as they were intended and written is what keeps us from being a third world shit hole. We are a nation of laws. The constitution is difficult to amend, with good reason. A judge deciding they know better is a miscarriage of justice.

You still haven’t supported your accusations or apologized.

i did support. Go read through the articles.

So you’re saying Gay Marriage being legalized by the Supreme Court was a miscarriage of Justice?

And further by that logic- Separate but equal being decided as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court was a miscarriage of justice too?

Have you ever taken a constitutional law class? Policies all across our government are set forth through Supreme Court decisions and not by amendments.

Many conservatives love to cry foul about this and call it legislating from the bench. But sometimes it is the only way.

You’re moving the goalposts more than you did when you embarrassed yourself in the global warming/disposable plastic discussion.

What racist policies have Coney-Barrett or Pompeo enacted? Pretty much every example you gave was bullshit, but let’s get specific. Give me specific examples. Go.

Here go.

Yafai v Pompeo

Amy Cohen Barrett wrote the opinion.

even a federal court judge appointed by Reagan stated she over stepped and went to far.

and take a guess why? Cause of the country they originated from…

I’m still waiting for the “racist at their core” policies they implemented. That’s not even fucking close. Put up or shut up and apologize.

How’s it not close?

A judge over stepping her judicial bounds and not giving due process to a US citizen simply because someone is coming from the Middle East?

In closing Thomas wrote: "One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections."

For what it's worth, he also wrote that it wouldn't have affected the outcome in any federal election, twice, in the same dissent.

A racist Republican president....
Richard Nixon instituted affirmative action. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revised_Philadelphia_Plan

Nixon signed the Voting Rights Act of 1970

Nixon enforced school desegregation in the south.
In the fall of 1968, 68 percent of black children in the South were attending all-black schools. By 1974, that number had fallen to 8 percent.
Daniel Patrick Moynihan wrote, “There has been more change in the structure of American public school education in the last month than in the past 100 years.”

Ya, Republicans have always been racist. If, you believe the Neo-Marxists. Yet they can't name ONE modern, racist legislative act they enacted. Not one.

BTW: wasn't it President Eisenhower who proposed & signed the 1957 Civil Rights Bill? I think VP Nixon was his point man.

To be fair, the Republican party started changing drastically socially in the late 80s with Pat Robertson gaining influence and then in the mid 90s with New Gingrich. Today's GOP is wildly different than that of the Nixon era. Let's not compare apples to oranges here, lest you want to also throw in Teddy Roosevelt, Hoover, and Eisenhower as being relevant to today's Republican party policies.

If you had any integrity at all you’d admit you said something stupid. Keep it up, and the risk is people will actually believe you mean the shit you say.

For what it's worth, he also wrote that it wouldn't have affected the outcome in any federal election, twice, in the same dissent.

That opinion was in reference to votes received by mail after Nov. 3rd, even without post mark. He suggested that we were lucky that Pennsylvania wasn't a catastrophe.

Thomas: “Unclear rules threaten to undermine [the electoral system]. They sow confusion and ultimately dampen confidence in the integrity and fairness of elections.”

Thomas: "An election system lacks clear rules when, as here, different officials dispute who has authority to set or change those rules. This kind of dispute brews confusion because voters may not know which rules to follow. Even worse, with more than one system of rules in place, competing candidates might each declare victory under different sets of rules."

The reality was: The PA DEMOCRAT Secretary of State changed election rules (in favor of Democrats) without the authority to do so. The US CONSTITUTION only authorizes the state legislatures to set election rules. That pre-election case ended in a 4-4 tie. If PA were not able to mail out millions of ballots, there is no way Biden carries PA.
