FML....ended up missing it all (save tuning in on socal freq to listen in while I was the turning spare). By the time I walked out of mx and headed down there, Coronado had already been closed off. On the upside, I did start our jet that ended up making the flyby, so I guess that makes it worth it

You sir, are a great American.

Awesome experience, especially being in the Island stack and seeing all the other planes above and below. Jollygreen, I saw you guys circling above, too. Rolling into the bay was one of the coolest sights. Any have any videos and pics of the P-3? Hope you all enjoyed the show.

Glad you made it home. Seemed a bit touch & go there for a few with Beaver's head exploding from all the clearances.

Yeah, he did a great job, but he forgot about us there for awhile trying to get the guys with short legs home.

Yeah, we followed you around for awhile up there. That was really an amazing experience.

i had the pleasure of flying in the "alpha strike" to finish the show. pretty cool sight.

"Pretty cool" was an understatement.

Looked like a real old-school Alpha Strike (sans the jinking, of course). I loved it!

(BTW, that Pappa-Three AOB I liked too. Well done. As were others. And I have never seen so many Phrogs in the air at once. Loved that too.)

BZ to all!

Watching the "Alpha Strike" fly over was one of the coolest experiences I've had. It felt like I was watching a natural event that only occurs every hundred years. What's most telling is that the reaction everyone immediately had was to clap and cheer. Awesome.

Getting picked to be the announcer for CoNA was great...
... getting to actually BE THERE was a magnitude better.
I'm bummed I didn't get to meet any AW's there, but I hope you heard the shoutout I gave earlier in the day.
For those that didn't make it, you missed something very cool. When the Stennis' Wing flyover started, I didn't know what to say... so I turned off the mic, and I shut up.
Very memorable.
