Side fact: before each game, baseballs are rubbed down with mud harvested from the Delaware River/Bay, the exact location is kept secret, even MLB doesn't know the exact location of the special mud.

Hey the Birds have come a long way in just a few years. Whereas us Nats fans watched the Lerners burn a championship team to the ground and can't even break .500. They need to just sell the damned team already...

Walked out to my Hemi RAM this morning, cranked up the truck and “Glory Days” by Bruce Springsteen immediately starts playing- how appropriate for Opening Day. Looks like ESPN is showing the Brewers at the Yankees; meanwhile, Atlanta starts the season in San Diego. Go Braves!

And for those who have never seen it, you have to watch The Sandlot - it will bring back memories. And if you ever heard the phrase “You’re killin’ me Smalls!”, this the movie it came from.
