Live within your means and don't buy every f-ing toy because you can. If you handle your investments/debts properly the option to walk away after your commitment is up is easier. If you stick around, the retirement Uncle Sam gives you (assuming it is still around) is but a part of your portfolio.

I don't know what it is, but it seems like the majority of my peers have already gotten married, or are getting engaged like there's no tomorrow. This is before any of them attend TBS no less. Me, I am perfectly content to put that off for a quite a while.
