the thing is, you can't reapply unless something in your packet changes. Luckily for me i have a third attempt remaining for the ASTB to get better scores then 6/9/7. But what if I didn't? Would I need to go get my masters? PPL? I don't think we can "keep trying" as much as I wish we could. I have always wondered, if someone with scores that are believed to be able to get a pro rec y should be able to reapply, because the boards go off available billets right. But I don't think that is the case, unless I am wrong. someone feel free to correct me.

I think it’s either big change or wait 6(?) months, though I don’t know if they’re just guidelines and are enforced at all; my recruiter said I don’t have to retest or anything he’ll just resubmit my packet for March in-house but sometimes recruiters don’t have the most accurate information either and are themselves kept in the dark from up top.. I’d imagine with a 58 8/8/7 it wouldn’t make too much sense to require a “big change” in order for me to be able to reapply…but regardless you are right, at some point waiting around to reapply time after another makes “keep trying” a bit impossible..
