I guess retake it. Though I’m a little scared that there is something in my application that is a red flag. I will never find out what it is ofc cause they don’t tell you. I then ponder if they give applicants who are on there 2nd and 3rd try the benefit of the doubt. Which I actually think is really cool cause it shows grit and pursuit.Hey man, whats your plan for getting reselected for SNA? I was just denied too, and I'm at a loss for what i should do. Do we have to wait 6 months to submit a new package? I didn't have any LORs on my most recent package, so I'll go a try to find some before I submit again.
I don't think soIs there already a GroupMe for March08-26?
Honestly I think with your score and GPA, I think it should have been at least 80/20 in your favor, especially if you're an SNA applicant. From what I've been told, they mostly care about your PFAR and GPA. The 9 and the 3.2 GPA should have been essentially a freebie. This previous board is quite surprising to say the leastThe only non-med stuff I had in my packet were my tattoos on my legs/back. Felt like my score and GPA was 50/50 with a 48 5/9/6 and 3.20. Regarding your question about the 6 months wait, I believe so.
You should see the results from the OCT22 board. The fact that anyone got selected on that one was amazing lolHonestly I think with your score and GPA, I think it should have been at least 80/20 in your favor, especially if you're an SNA applicant. I just checked it out... what a gauntlet. It might take the cake for the hardest board on the spreadsheet. You should see the results from the OCT22 board. The fact that anyone got selected on that one was amazing lol
My recruiter said he’ll just process my resubmission in-house for March and I basically don’t gotta do anything.. I have 58(?) 8/8/7 and 3.02 GPA. Though in my case he said it’s weird that I got a Pro Rec N but was apparently not even at-board so his boss’s boss is inquiring for my specific case to figure out what’s going on…I think it's 6 months unless there's a "significant change" in your package, like new ASTB scores for example. Someone else will have to confirm that
Y'all have some good recruiters. I text mine and don't hear back for days.My recruiter said he’ll just process my resubmission in-house for March and I basically don’t gotta do anything.. Edit: I was I Sel kickback to regular board same as Corvette due to experimental weed usage that didn’t incur a waiver but Corvette got picked up so I don’t think that that was the problem, I got no other waivers or issues otherwise, probably my GPA is too low haha
Yeah I’m on my second one now the first one completed his navy career haha but both are very communicative and are trying their best to help.Y'all have some good recruiters. I text mine and don't hear back for days.
This is my third in a year and they have all been like this. If I wasn't set on the Navy, they would have made me go to another branch for sure.Yeah I’m on my second one now the first one completed his navy career haha but both are very communicative and are trying their best to help.
Sorry to hear that.. but yeah I’m set on the navy too regardless so I’ll keep on trying until they straight up tell me no lol, I guess March or whenever the next board actually happens will be my third time trying if I count the I Sel kickbackThis is my third in a year and they have all been like this. Hypothetically, yes. As long as you meet criteria it should be a rolling review that goes straight to the program manager.Hey everybody!
I had a quick question regarding SNA applications. On the FY26 Board Schedule, it mentions that those who qualify for Aviation Immediate Selection accepts application on a rolling basis. Does that mean I can submit whenever I have the documents in place? I'm assuming that those applications will still go through some type of board?
Any response is greatly appreciated, and congrats to those who have been selected for their desired platforms!
Yeah I was debating on going for the March board or waiting for the May board just incase the March board is another killer so I don't have to wait 6 more months. But again waiting on my recruiter to tell me any of the next steps I need to do.Sorry to hear that.. but yeah I’m set on the navy too regardless so I’ll keep on trying until they straight up tell me no lol, I guess March or whenever the next board actually happens will be my third time trying if I count the I Sel kickback
Did you get an official pro-rec N or were you not at board? I thought if you didn’t make it to the board you aren’t even considered for a Y or N?My recruiter said he’ll just process my resubmission in-house for March and I basically don’t gotta do anything.. I don’t know how true the 6 month wait is and what it’ll apply to… it seems that my recruiter isn’t too sure on that policy and just said he’ll process and resubmit my packet for March which isn’t really six months from now considering NRC deadline is around January 29Yeah I was debating on going for the March board or waiting for the May board just incase the March board is another killer so I don't have to wait 6 more months.
