ProRec (professional recommendation) means you were selected. FinSel (final selection) means you accepted.My recruiter did not explain the process to me for after the packet is sent in.
So as I understand it the board is meeting now. What is this prorec/finsel/etc?
Would appreciate any insight and have been mostly in the dark like the other guy above mentioned.
Unless you have SharePoint access, we’re basically sitting in the dark until someone gives us an update.
Once results are released, your OR will be able to provide stats on the designators. For example, from the January ’25 board (per my OR):
- 37 IP and 2 IP BDCP were selected; 18 were not selected.
- 78 CW and 8 CW BDCP were selected; 28 were not selected.
These numbers are fun to look at, but take them with a grain of salt because no one really knows how many spots are trying to be filled.
