How long do you have to wait for LASIK? 6 months right? I got mine done on Jan 25th so I can assume I will miss the August board.

I don’t have any official documents to link, but 6 months is what my recruiter said when I told him I’d had eye surgery before.How long do you have to wait for LASIK? 6 months right? I got mine done on Jan 25th so I can assume I will miss the August board.
It is not normal at all, except for the August 2020 board lol. There are a lot of us SNAs from that board still waiting to go to OCS. Hopefully things get better by the time you guys have selection results. From what I've seen, almost all SNAs from the boards after mine still don't have OCS dates. Except for a few with very special circumstances.

Was a joke. Idk, shoot your shot. Once you submit your application it is out of your hands. Guess its a personal preference on lifestyle and branch.

If you want to fly helo's the Army is going to guarantee that, if you want to fly fixed wing aircraft then you could roll the dice and try the USN.
