It would be highly unlikely your recruiter spoke with the OCM, more than likely your recruiter spoke to the PM at NRC that would review the SNA/SNFO applications, who then would send them off for review. The PM review is what would take the most time as that is the person that would make sure the person meets all the requirements so the OCM just needs to do quick checks. The way my recruiter phrased his discussion with the OCM implied he was confident all ISEL applicants would be reviewed soon, or at least those that submitted their applications are February/March
Did you see this confirmed somewhere?Next board is November too, so its gonna be a nice wait

be optimistic, they'll cancel less boards this way

Yeah with how much they been canceling it’s closer to 3-4 boards than 6 anyways lmaobe optimistic, they'll cancel less boards this way![]()
There’s still a lot of time for people to submit to the spreadsheet but looking at it now it looks so much less saturated than last September (and even last may honestly). If I’m correct there were nearly 100 people listed on the AW spreadsheet alone in September. And my recruiter also told me that he’d never seen so many kits at a board before. Also the board around this time last year was incredibly generous. Best we can do is stay optimistic and also hope that our kits actually make it to the board (not to add any nightmare fuel. Sorry).Very optimistic though, seems like it’s fr this time, June board is finally happening after 3 canceled in a row, and first dips too on quotas the official (1/4) first board of the FY!
Either way the process that was described to you would make sense. It’s not unlikely my recruiter was either trying to simplify his explanation for me, or is also as ignorant to the difference as I am.
Thank you for the clarification.
What is old is new again, the standard used to be 1 board each quarter.
That is what is says, but it doesn't really mean that as they have already been filling the next FY spots, NRC normally starts filling the next FY spots starting in March/April.Very optimistic though, seems like it’s fr this time, June board is finally happening after 3 canceled in a row, and first dips too on quotas the official (1/4) first board of the FY!
