I'd say a 278 is pretty competitive since you're going ground. Obviously, it's not going to hurt you if you get your goal of 285.

The lubricating drops are for your comfort. I wouldn't discontinue any drops without consulting with your doctor. So if you're having problems, talk to him or her. These are your eyes, remember. You only get one pair. I'd trust my doctor a lot more than I would people on the internets.

Test (Form) 1 is no longer being given. Only Forms 3, 4, and 5. I took Form 3 and a good chunk of that list was covered on the test.

A contact lens is applied after surgery for PRK. At least that's the way it was done for me. I think the main difference in PRK and its variants have to do with what happens to the epithelium.

Wow, 2 weeks? I had my eyes done on a Friday and had the bandages out that Monday.

I haven't had an enhancement, but 6 weeks is far too soon to be thinking about that. It'll take several months for your eyes to stablize and for some, even longer. No need to sweat it yet.

I would suppose that they would be different depending on which form of the supplemental section you took. I had Form AA for my supplemental section and it had a variety of questions, not just one particular type.

No, I believe you could do PLC-C the summer before your senior year (2008). Those that are screwed are those graduating this spring and applying for OCC 195. That leaves about 8 months of unemployment/low paying job(s) from graduation to Jan. 2008. :icon_rage

I was 20/200 with a prescription for -2.50 diopters in both eyes. I also had a slight astigmatism. I am currently 20/20 one week after my surgery and am amazed every morning that I can wake up and see without putting in contacts.

I got my custom PRK on Friday, and couldn't be happier with results. I only had minimal pain Saturday morning and haven't had any since. I went in this morning for my 3-day post-op and my doctor took off my contact bandages. I'm seeing about 20/30 in both eyes right now. Only one more night...
