Benching really helped me increase my push-up endurance (63----> 106). Yea....i know huh? Pretty ridiculous u say. But its the truth. Flat benching, incline and decline, it really helped me a bunch. Be sure to have spotter when lifting too heavy.

I did ashore but we still went out to sea on the last week (only 4 days) and they just flew us back to the beach when cruise was finished. Good stuff. IMO, I thought ashore was a good deal. But if you chose ashore, make plans to rent a car or bring a POV because walking really blows.

I was curious...Are CWOs commissioned officers? My dad retired as a CWO4 and I would really like him to commission me come August. But I was told only commissioned officers can swear you in. I was just a little confused because with the whole rank structure and 0-1s technically outranking...

Relaxing helped for me. And taking in a huge amount of air before I stick my head into the water. I used to have problems floating too, but just letting yourself be motionless and relax helped me float. Just keep practicing and you'll get it.
